Team Profile

CoE Maintenance Optimization (MOS) team help SAP customers in managing their maintenance events, such as system upgrade, OS/DB migration including HANA and Cloud migration, S/4HANA conversion and so on. We support and advise our customers globally with SAP Best Practice and downtime minimization area to meet their business and IT transformation requirements. And we help SAP customers move to S/4HANA to pave the way into the digital business world.

Responsibilities

·  Understand and analysis the technical requirement for SAP system maintenance events
·  Planning for SAP system maintenance projects like system conversion, release upgrade, OS/DB migration, etc.
·  Execution of SAP system maintenance and provisioning events as technical lead or technical consultant
·  Deliver support services to safeguard customer SAP system maintenance projects
·  Support with local customers as well as global accounts

Qualifications

·  Good understanding and experience with SAP system Basis.
·  Good understanding and experience with Operation Systems (Linux, AIX, etc.) and Databases (HANA, Oracle, DB2, etc.).
·  Familiar with SAP Software Logistics tools especially those for system maintenance and provisioning, like SUM, SWPM, etc.
·  At least 2 full-cycle experience in SAP Upgrade/Migration projects as upgrade/migration consultant, or strong evidence of general basis experience.
·  Strong skills of root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
·  Experience in SAP Upgrade/Migration projects as technical lead or project manager is a plus.
·  Experience in any SAP product and/or application module is a plus.
·  Experience in ABAP development is a plus.
·  Good conceptual understanding of Application Lifecycle Management is a plus, including Upgrade and Release Management, Custom Code Management, Change Management, and so on.
·  Excellent communication and presentation skills in both verbal and written English.
·  A real team player with initiative and 'can do' attitude who learns and adapts quickly in an international environment.
·  Being able to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight deadlines.
·  Ability and willingness to travel, including travel abroad in regular rotation basis. The expected travel ratio is 30%-70%.
·  Three years of SAP related working experience or above.

Language

·  English: Fluent

Education

·  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline. Postgraduate degree preferred.

Professional Training & Certification

·  Any SAP basis/migration certificate like TADM70, HA250 is a plus.
·  PMP certification and /or other industry and project management certification is a plus
