THE OPPORTUNITY

 

The SAP Solution Delivery Centre (SDC) is responsible for driving customer success as ONE SAP by maximizing the adoption of SAP products across industries with accelerated ‘time-to-value', leveraging global scale and expertise through integrated right shore delivery, focusing on remote, factory services and outcome-based solutions that utilize robust processes and practices.  The SDC are a global team with centers in EMEA, India, Greater China, Latin America, North America.  The SDC are now looking to establish a new centre in the ANZ region, based in Brisbane

 

As a founding member of this integral group within our broader Consulting practice you will not only help in establishing the SDC in ANZ, but also help to position the ANZ team as a key contributor within SAP Services for driving customer simplicity and effective, standardised delivery.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

 

As a S4/HANA Functional Associate Consultant (FICO) you will:

·  Assist in the preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects
·  Actively participate in the planning and running of blueprint workshops/meetings with internal and external clients  
·  Assisting in defining the scope of a project/opportunities
·  Provide inputs and be a creative source of ideas/solutions to address problems
·  Deliver billable components that meet a customer's needs
·  Mentor other Consultants and young graduates in SAP Solutions and industry specific business processes
·  Support the internal Consulting Practice with pre-sales support, spot consulting and internal projects and commit to the success of customers, partners, colleagues, and SAP

 

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

 

Required skills

·  University degree in: Information Systems, Commerce, Finance, Cost Accountancy, Computer Science or similar degree.
·  Knowledge of SAP FICO core or FICO modules
·  Knowledge of or prior experience in the configuration and implementation of FICO solution and experience with SAP Activate project methodology and accelerators, including RDS and Best Practices
·  Customer focus and solutions orientated
·  Sound communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels within client company

 

Preferred skills / beneficial

Any of the following skills would be considered as a bonus:

·  ABAP development and debugging skills
·  Knowledge of Simple Finance
·  Knowledge of BPC for Planning and/or material ledger and/or special ledger
·  Experience/exposure to FSCM, Treasury Risk Management

WORK EXPERIENCE

·  3-4 years relevant work experience in a similar role
·  Previous experience involving client/customer interaction
