PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
We are looking for an User Assistance Developer Associate (Junior Technical Writer) for the central SAP S/4HANA User Assistance team in P&I S/4HANA.

The central SAP S/4HANA User Assistance team provides User Assistance services for SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP S/4HANA together with several development areas in P&I. In the area of User Assistance, the team is involved in defining documentation and translation architecture, concepts, processes, and (tool) technologies, from high-level ideas to detailed guidelines. The team is also responsible for coordinating a broad range of central topics for SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP S/4HANA, including the production and provisioning of the content.

Through its work, the team influences the future and the strategy of SAP's User Assistance in collaboration with other teams, partners, and customers.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
• Writing documentation for SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP S/4HANA: for example, online help, manuals, guides, process information, and tutorials
• Providing additional, target group-specific user assistance in the form of image maps, infographics, videos, or blog posts
• Researching and defining technical and business terminology
• Proof-reading and editing user interface texts for usability and readability
• Working in international teams with developers and product managers as well as other UA developers and translators

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• University degree in Technical Writing, IT, Business Studies, or a language-based university degree
• Native speaker level of English with very good verbal and written German skills OR native speaker level of German with excellent verbal and written English skills
• Strong technical understanding and ability to translate complex technical content into easy understandable texts
• Ability to work independently and to work on different parallel activities and in multiple teams under tight deadlines
• Customer-oriented attitude, Team spirit and intercultural awareness
• Basic knowledge of SAP and SAP S/4HANA Cloud / SAP S/4HANA would be appreciated but is not a prerequisite

WORK EXPERIENCE
This is an entry-level position for recent or upcoming graduates with 0-2 years of work experience.
