PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The “Installed Base Maintenance and Support” (IMS) is a global organization supporting allcompanies running SAP solutions.
We are part of the SAP development organization “Application Innovation”. Our highly motivated team includes more than 1300 developers worldwide.
Our experts participate in the development of strategic products like S/4HANA and analyze and correct issues within our software reported by our customers.
We seek for an Graduate and are looking for candidates that are committed to deliver support for different ERP products and to contribute to development tasks for our next generation business suite S/4HANA including our new user experience SAP Fiori.
Based on the professional background colleagues newly joining our team will be trained based on an individual plan. Such a training plan can consist of class room trainings and on-the-job activities to build up the needed technical and product expertise quickly. An experienced colleague will also act as your personal mentor.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
· You will analyze complex software issues and provide corrections for it.
· You will support our customers and other SAP teams with deep product expertise.
· You will carry out research and development activities for our next generation business suite.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter and tabular CV, copies of the obtained degrees (incl. transcriptions and results for obtained courses) and references (if available).
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
· University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Information Technology, Business Administration, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
· Fluent in German and English (Minimum skill level B2 or higher in both languages)
· Good programming skills in at least one common programming language (ABAP knowledge highly beneficial). Additionally good web development skills using technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, Git.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and tasks.
· High customer and service orientation with a strong focus on quality.
· Business & technical knowledge in SAP ERP SD is highly welcome but not mandatory.
· You are a good team player and have the willingness to work in virtual and cultural diverse teams.
WORK EXPERIENCE
This is an entry-level position for upcoming or recent graduates with 0-2 years of work experience.
The position can be also filled as part time position
