Purpose & Objective of Position
The University Alliances Program Co-op will be responsible for coordination and tactical execution of regional deliverables. The ideal candidate should possess prior work experience, a level of technical
knowledge, logical deductive reasoning, interpersonal skills, an ability to work with colleagues across North America, and the confidence to manage a complex set of tasks in order to ensure successful outcomes for key SAP University Alliances initiatives.
Expectations & Tasks
1. Work with the Regional Director – North America and the University Alliances North America team on activities which relate to communications, marketing, operations, Web 2.0, program management, curriculum, content, and event related support.
2. Coordinate, in a matrix environment, internal and external stakeholders to meet program timelines and key deliverables.
3. Support priority activities to drive program success
4. Perform post-execution analysis of program to examine results and key metrics
5. Work within the budget and time allocations for the respective activities and programs.
6. Examples of activities may include one or more of the following:
Follow-up on next steps related to SAP UA meetings that requires coordination
Answer preliminary inquiries from prospective members
Maximize the value of online and face-to-face workshops and webinars
Support key University Alliances North America program activities
Research background / needs of prospective members, customers and other stakeholders
Follow-up with professors and contributors related to curriculum
Pull data (at a co-op level) to support the Regional Director in decision support and key next steps including further list development, assessment of new targets, UA program participation level, etc.
Skills / Competencies
Business and IT Related Knowledge & Skills:
Work experience and/or courses in one or more of the following areas: marketing, communications, international business, operations, economics
Some Computer Science or IT related courses
Familiarity with enterprise software market or similar business-to-business programs or activities a plus
Ability to assimilate complex ideas and detailed information into well written, spoken and visual communications
Effective program coordination skills
Ability to consistently deliver results in a high-energy environment
Knowledge of Web 2.0 techniques including social media and awareness of e-mail campaign management, list cultivation/management, and segmentation
Strong organization, analytical and problem solving skills
Energetic team player
Educational Requirements (degrees, class completion, etc.)
Candidate must be enrolled in a degree seeking program. Business, marketing, communications, operations, economics, information sciences, or international business majors preferred.
