Job Description:

 

SAP Ariba is currently seeking highly motivated and energetic students to join our team as Systems Analyst Interns.

 

Our interns will be provided training and mentoring to participate in a full range of activities to provide excellence to the business. The Systems Analyst intern will be exposed to a variety of project based assignments as well as day to day operational tasks.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·  Works closely with IT personnel and business units to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology.
·  Reviews, analyzes, and creates detailed documentation of business systems and user needs; including workflow, business rules, look and feel, and compliance.
·  Consults with IT and business personnel to determine business, functional, and technical requirements for specified applications.
·  Reviews project plans and other technical documents with IT project staff to ensure business requirements are adequately reflected in technical planning documents.
·  Develops effective communication and reporting tools.
·  Prepares routine reports and maintains listing of current business/compliance rules including where and how they apply.
·  Responsible for ensuring that all documentation accurately reflects the current status of changes and outstanding issues so that business requirements reflect application features and functions.
·  All other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Able to work independently with business and technical team members.
·  Strong Analytical and problem solving abilities.
·  Ability to drive work efforts with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
·  Proven ability to manage time productively with limited oversight while rapidly adapting to changes in priority.
·  Personal commitment to excellence and personal growth.
·  Ability to follow and create technical documentation.
·  Pursuing a career in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.

 

Technical Skills:

 

Strong candidates would possess one or more of the following technical skills, however are not required.

·  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
·  SQL / MSSQL Database experience
·  .NET and JAVA script experience
·  Project Management
