PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Business Insight & Technology (BIT) drives SAP’s continuous innovation journey by streamlining and rethinking internal processes and systems at SAP. Within BIT, the central Enterprise Analytics (EA) team holistically defines the analytical roadmap for the enterprise and delivers relevant analytical assets, such as Headcount Dashboards or Sales Cockpits.
We are looking for an ambitious Intern or Working Student to support the planning and management of our annual Transparency Day 2017 (TD’17), which takes place globally starting in Q2/2017. This internal SAP event attracts up to 1.000 internal colleagues and showcases what Enterprise Analytics provides to its internal customers. We intend to use unconventional methods of approaching, presenting to and engaging with our customers for this great event.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The position includes a wide range of activities that require clear, outgoing, proactive communication skills, good organizational skills as well as attention to detail, but above all, creativity and thinking out-of-the-box.
Expectations include:

Tasks include but are not limited to:
· Structuring content for the event and following up with experts
· Contributing to the creation of unconventional contexts or formats for presentations, e.g. explaining EA Standards through a “labyrinth”
· Managing tasks and meetings of the global team
· Creating marketing materials for the event, e.g. posters, social media content
· Drive the creation of best practice materials
· Making sure we have not forgotten anything to deliver a successful event
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied sciences
· Preferred fields of study: Event Management, Design, Economics, Business, Marketing & Communication – interdisciplinary studies welcome!
· Computer skills: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook is a must; experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or other media design tools are a plus!
· Language skills: fluent English and German is mandatory
· Soft skills: good self-organization, good communication skills in order to be able to interact with diverse project teams and stakeholders, curious, involved, motivated to go the extra mile
· Project management experience is a plus
