PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Canada is excited to offer an HR Coordinator internship opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic individual seeking exposure and development in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role will encompass many facets that define our HR strategy at SAP, and will afford the best candidate a unique learning opportunity that will provide long-lasting value and growth. The HR Coordinator will be working within the Canadian HR Business Partner organization, providing critical support to the Canadian HR Business Partners.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Provide transactional and project support to the HR Business Partners
·
Preparation of a wide variety of ad-hoc reports
·
Conduct research and support of various projects and initiatives
·
Coordination and/or facilitation of a variety of employee information sessions
·
Create and maintain purchase orders for the department
·
Ensure processes/procedures affecting HRBPs are being followed
·
Provide ongoing support to employees with respect to various inquiries
·
Various interactions with the extended HR teams (data management, recruiting and otherDepartments such as Finance, Payroll, IT as required)
·
Other duties as required
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES required to be successful in the role:

Takes personal initiative to improve processes and develop new approaches
·
Demonstrate advanced Microsoft Office skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook;
·
Experience in information management, filing, data entry and data storage systems
·
Eager to accept new challenges, develop skills and knowledge;
·
Have experience working with HRIS system, experience working with SAP systems considered to be an asset;
·
Demonstrate excellent organizational and prioritization abilities;
·
Detail-oriented, inquisitive and resourceful;
·
Capable of managing multiple demands from a variety of sources;
·
Able to maintain composure in demanding situations;
·
Understand privacy regulations and maintain a high level of confidentiality;
·
Work independently with minimal direction at times whilst being an effective team player;
·
Manage time wisely; performing tasks effectively and efficiently;
·
Understands and has experience in the high-tech industry;
·
Must be willing to adjust work schedule to fit the requirements of the task at hand, on occasion;
·
Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
QUALIFICATIONS
·
Currently enrolled in a university program or new graduate
·
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or alike
·
CHRP or APRHQ certification is an asset
