Key application areas covered with SaaS solutions include people, money, customers, and suppliers.

Software as a service, sometimes referred to as "on-demand software," is a software delivery model in which software and associated data are centrally hosted on the cloud. SaaS typically is accessed by users via a web browser.

SaaS Cloud Delivery Budapest is a key location responsible for Operating SAP's SaaS Cloud Products, precisely leading HCM solution, called SuccessFactors. Team needs to ensure the various Productive landscapes are running well for European Customers along with global.

JOB DESCRIPTION

SAP SuccessFactors is seeking an Engineer to join HCM Cloud Integration Tools & Utilities Team in Budapest. That professional thrives on solving problems and is excited about taking on new challenges, working with multiple clients, and keeping up with new technology. This position requires dedication, persistence, follow-up, effective time management, and unbeatable customer service with exceptional communication skills.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

·  Operates HCM's Integration solutions
·  Execute technical feasibility studies / solution reviews
·  Define / review technical blueprint for internal IT projects
·  Customize and develop enhancements
·  Implement the solutions
·  Provide technical documentation
·  Ensure proper escalation process is followed when transferring issues to other teams including Vendor team
·  Document and communicate incidents, outages, ticket status, problem resolutions (internally and externally), and escalate tickets appropriately

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

·  Knowledge in Integration concepts (e.g.: WebMethods, SAP Process Integration, HCI, Boomi, etc.)
·  Multiple years of experience of end-to-end operations with middleware applications
·  Multiple years of experience in Linux/Unix administration, around 2+ years of overall software support/operations experience, with a successful delivery track record.
·  Multi-Tiered Architecture troubleshooting (loadbalancer, web server, app server, DB)
·  Experience of working in large landscape/environment where JAVA applications are running
·  Experience with Apache and Application Servers (such as Tomcat, JBoss), application server performance triage methodologies
·  Experience in monitoring, metrics collection, and reporting with Splunk, Zabbix, Nagios, Pingdom etc.
·  Understanding the concept of ETL (extract, transform, load)
·  Understanding of load balancer and firewall concepts, security aspects
·  Understanding of TCP/IP networking, architecture and core technologies (DHCP, DNS, LDAP, NFS, FTP, etc.)
·  Scripting (shell, perl, ruby)
·  Experience on documenting Procedure Manuals and Run books
·  Proficient in using MS Office, MS Project, and MS Visio
·  Java Application Support and JVM Performance Tuning is a plus
·  Ability to develop complex scripts/tools and to comprehend software architecture is a plus

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

·  Bachelor's Degree in IT / Technology
·  General Linux and Windows knowledge
·  Familiar with VMWare and other virtualization concepts
·  ITIL Foundation v3 and/or additional Intermediate ITIL related certifications
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proactive attitude, team player, working with global teams
·  Team player
·  Must be fluent in English
