PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Payroll process specialist carries out payroll preparations, payroll runs and other monthly subsequent activities like bank transfers file creation, posting to accounts and various payroll reports on monthly basis for migrated countries within EMEA region. He/she acts in accordance with policies and a legal regulation described in process handbooks and closely cooperates with local payroll consultants based in migrated countries.

Desired profile

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
• Prepare for payroll run with cooperation with in country payroll administrators
• Run several reports within preparation for payroll run which should prevent from later issues/errors
• Perform payroll run, bank transfers and posting to accounts in accordance to processes described in process handbooks
• Ensure payment completeness and accuracy, and that all payroll tasks are completed on time
• Make sure all processes are performed in accordance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) act
• Update process handbooks and checklists in accordance with process changes and legal regulations changes
• Ensure information flow with all departments and functions in SAP, which are involved in the transactions
• Provide accurate and friendly advice and service to all customers (employees) and all other related parties
• Cooperate with other team members and country CoEs (Centre of Expertise) in order to deliver the in-scope services in compliance with Service Level Agreement
• Resolve customer queries within the defined HRdirect procedures in cooperation with HRdirect and local payroll consultants and any other parties which might get involved for the query resolution.
• Continuously improve work procedures and processes
• Participate on Global Payroll projects

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Accuracy / attention to detail
• Ability to work with confidential information
• Quality driven, analytical and problem solving skills
• Professional communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Flexible / adaptable
• Ability to work in international teams where team members are in different locations and belong to different cultures
• Ability to plan and organize work duties effectively
• Ability to prioritize work tasks
• Successful completed secondary level
• Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Upper-intermediate in English and at least basic level in French
• Other language skills (Russian, Italian, Dutch etc.) an advantage

WORK EXPERIENCE
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience with SAP system is an advantage
• Payroll knowledge as advantage
• No previous experience is required for this position
