ROLE DESCRIPTION
The HR Global Mobility Specialist is responsible for the smooth execution of mobility cases worldwide with a focus on intra-company short term moves, including billing and reporting globally.
The main focus of this role is to support employees according to the current SAP Global Mobility Policy. The Global Mobility Specialist assists in coordinating all relevant mobility services employees traveling to assigned countries and solving related internal and external issues. Furthermore, the Global Mobility Specialist is the first contact point within Global Mobility to begin processing inquiries from management, business partners and employees.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Work closely with customers planning cross border travel and events to ensure that tax and immigration implications are identified and managed.
• Consult and advise recruiters in the process of relocation set up for foreign new hire candidates and managers.
• Act as a single point of contact for assigned countries for the Fellowship program.
• Organize and provide team trainings on key topics.
• Coordinate and interact with 3rd party vendors, including tax, payroll and relocation service providers and manage related deliverables.
• Maintain regular contact with other service departments involved in the mobility process including finance, payroll, data management, HRBPs, recruiters etc.
• Understand scope of services, company policies and Service Level Agreements for customers.
• Identify solutions for non-standard cases and share best practices with the team.
• Follow up on cases to secure approvals and order services with third-party vendors.
• Continuously develop specific knowledge related to Mobility topics (e.g.. visa, social security, tax)
• Identify opportunities to continuously improve operational processes and procedures.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Min.1 year working experience in administration preferred
• Knowledge of mobility services or other HR services preferred
• Experience working within a customer oriented environment
