PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Development team, based in Palo Alto, California, develops and delivers enterprise-level software applications that focus on Regulatory and Compliance Industries worldwide

 

SAP GRC development team is currently working on SAP GRC Access Governance Cloud, taking advantage of cutting edge SAP In-Memory Computing Database known as HANA as well as the SAP HANA Cloud Platform (HCP) Technology. Our new project includes authorization data analysis and assessment, new data modeling initiatives, using novel algorithms to compose robust and accurate risk analysis module for use in multiple GRC applications both from mobile and desktop, and thereby introducing to the market a wide new range of GRC applications based on our HANA technology.

As a User Experience Designer in GRC team, you will be involved in the complete product user interface design and refinement lifecycle, starting from requirement gathering, prototype and mock-up preparation, storyboarding, design, collaborating with development, validating and revising deliverables with internal and customer feedback for future improvement.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

·  Direct the user experience, user interface, process flow, and visual appearance of all new features and enhancements of GRC cloud product
·  Collaborate with developers, product managers, quality assurance, and solution management to create amazing user interfaces
·  Design and implement elegant and streamlined software UI process flow on complex functionalities
·  Create conceptual wireframes, storyboards, click-through prototypes, and user flow diagrams to articulate on design direction
·  Identify deficiencies and/or gaps in current UI designs, and propose and contribute on  creative solutions
·  Effectively communicate design decisions to colleagues, cross-functional team members, and management
·  Able to effectively manage workload from interaction with multiple teams, potentially in different time zones, and create consensus and uniformity through different perspectives on UX design
·  Keep up with evolving design trends, technologies and best practices. 
·  Participate in customer roll out and other interaction activities as appropriate
·  Perform customer support as appropriate

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

·  Candidates must possess a Bachelor or Master Degree majoring in a relevant field, such as User Experience Design, Web Design, Multimedia/Visual Design, Interactive Design & Game Development, or other relevant discipline is encouraged to apply
·  0 to 5 years of professional experience in user experience design, preferably with a strong web-based design exposure
·  Proficiency in HTML as well as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
·  Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is beneficial
·  Familiarity with one or more of these technologies could be extremely helpful, though not required: Java, HTML5, Ajax, SQL, CSS, or JavaScript
·  Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
·  Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio for review
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Be able to solve problems creatively and effectively. Must be a self-starter who is technically savvy and well organized
·  Prior knowledge or experience working with SAP-related UI technology such as Fiori is highly desirable but not mandatory
·  The ideal candidate would be local to the Silicon Valley and have a mix of development and design work experience.
