ROLE DESCRIPTION:

SAP License Management organization is responsible for monitoring, advising and enforcing the terms of SAP license agreements. For this purpose are team conducts license entitlements vs deployment reviews at SAP customers. This team works closely with sales to identify license non-compliance and ensure that it gets commercially resolved.  The department works with multiple internal teams across the globe to finalize audits.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

The job requires the selected candidate to provide operational support to the MENA license compliance team. This gives an opportunity to understand how license compliance teams operate in software companies and provides exposure to contracting and complex auditing process along with essential sales processes like forecasting and creating go to market strategy. The job entails:

 

·  Take part in procedural and operational activities with colleagues from relevant internal teams
·  Effective management of workload, using the tools provided, CRM, Excel, Outlook, ISP
·  All steps in the Audit reminder timeline to be adhered to, where appropriate
·  Process all customer results received, in a timely, accurate manner, with guidance from audit consultant
·  Identify issues on the process and propose solutions
·  Support the Head of License Compliance ,MENA in all operational tasks
·  Communicate effectively with customers and multiple SAP colleagues (GLAS colleagues, Sales, Local License Audit contact persons, Shared Service Contacts, Local Contacts) to deliver high quality service and support
·  Provide information sessions and presentations to relevant parties (SAP colleagues and customers), using relevant tools and templates
·  Support colleagues from the license audit team in conducting the license audit through the use of SAP measurement tools, discussing with other experienced colleagues when necessary
·  Support local license audit contact person to work on the KPI’s (Master Data, Cancelled/escalated Audits, License audit opportunities)
·  Answer all calls in a timely and professional manner, using voicemail appropriately.
·  Take ownership of issues escalated by team and customer to ensure timely and effective resolution
·  Complete the contract database that is currently work in progress. This requires reading software contracts identifying entitlements and updating the database.
·  Supporting forecast report creation in excel with all relevant updates from team
·  Responsible for ensuring that reports are submitted timely by all team members to Head of License Compliance MENA
·  When applicable, substitute for the absent colleague, ensuring appropriate handover and follow-through on tasks
·  Support an onsite audit at customer (if applicable)
·  Other tasks deemed necessary

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES :

·  Very good excel skills (macros level)
·  Interested in reading legal software contracts
·  Ability to learn and effectively use various applications (ADRM, GLAS portal, ISP)
·  Effective communication skills
·  Hardworking
