The SAP Ariba Cloud Platform provides a feature-rich, high performance, scalable, rock-solid (99.99% uptime) Distributed Computing Platform via Ariba Cloud to allow rapid innovation of applications thereby addressing our customers' mission-critical business needs. We are looking for engineers who will be responsible for design, development, delivery and support of large-scale multi-tenant, cloud software framework and tools.

Responsibilities:

·  Work closely with Architect to design, implement and deploy of core platform components for Ariba cloud
·  Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments
·  Troubleshoot and solve complex cloud platform issues.
·  Work with other teams (internal or external) to integrate your component or services to another application or service
·  Participate in design reviews, code reviews of your work and the work of your peer engineers.
·  Mentor and assist other engineers in or out of your areas of ownership and expertise

Technical Qualifications

·  Bachelors in computer science or MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
·  Experience in designing/implementing reusable software application frameworks
·  Presenting ideas for system improvements across the organization and building POCs.
·  Demonstrated leadership and ownership of a large and innovative products and feature that have been successfully deployed
·  Demonstrated ability to design and implement highly scalable web based solutions
·  Strong programming skills, as well as the ability to work on complex problems
·  Provide innovative and out-of-the box ideas to solve deep technical business problems
·  Work closely with product managers, architects, team members, technical leaders, user interaction designers, and QA engineers.
·  Write design specifications, and subsequently implement and unit test the software.
·  Interact with customers for requirement, design discussions and for adoption of new features
·  Sound knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, design patterns and architecture principles
·  Good understanding of deployment environments, configuration of applications, change management principles
·  Proficiency in OOD principles, Core Java, J2EE and REST based Web services.
·  Basic UNIX/Linux knowledge
·  Experience in tools such as JIRA for bugs.
·  Knowledge on UI based technologies such as Angular JS, bootstrap, React etc.. OR Spring Boot OR Machine Learning is a plus
·  Domain experience in enterprise software, financial software, ERP systems, or eCommerce solutions

·  Strong leadership qualities – ability influence others and inspire others to create their best work
·  Demonstrated ability to take initiative and run new processes in an existing team
·  Follows good coding standards and show commitment to quality
·  Experience interfacing with customers and technical support
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Knowledge and experience designing On Demand/SaaS Software
·  Good Team player
