PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Come and make the future of S/4HANA Finance happen! Join the FI-CA development team in our Line of Business (LoB) Finance to fulfill SAP's simplification story by delivering S/4 HANA Finance in the cloud and on premise. The FIN set of solutions is based on a simplified and renewed Financials technology stack that leverages the potential of the SAP Hana Platform.

Being part of LoB Finance the organizational unit “Financial Operations” you will contribute to this story by developing the next generation of applications for contract accounts receivables/payables and collections, dispute & credit management. Our solution FI-CA (Contract Accounts Reveivables and Payables) is a FIN subledger, which is seamlessly integrated into S/4HANA and CRM / Hybris applications. We support nearly all industries such as Utilities, Retail, High Tech, Public Sector, Telecommunication, Media, and Insurance.
Customers using our solution include Apple, Microsoft, Deutsche Telekom, eBay, Zalando, Lexmark, and AOK.

Our applications offer a state-of-the-art user experience based on modern web user interface standards (like HTML5, UI5). LoB Finance is set up globally with teams in Shanghai, Walldorf, Potsdam and Palo Alto.
We work in cross functional teams applying the lean development model as well as methods of agile software development. In our software development process we employ the latest
technologies such as HANA and FIORI for the development of our solutions.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

You will work in an innovative environment with highly motivated colleagues. Your responsibility will be covering all stages and tasks within the entire development cycle:

· You work as a Development Architect in an agile development team according to SCRUM
· You will participate in usability validations for new UIs with contact to our customers
· You will provide architecture concepts for our solutions
· You will create high quality and easily reusable code in accordance with agreed design specifications
· You have the chance to continuously enhance your knowledge and keep up with latest technology trends
· In order to deliver first class results, you handle your tasks with enthusiasm and personal commitment. You have the ambition of building future-proof products and using state of the art technologies.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

· Excellent diploma or degree in IT or a related area of study
· Very good knowledge of applications with HTML5 / UI5 development
· Very good analytical thinking and problem solving skills
· Good communication skills and the desire to work with others
· Reliable and quality-oriented
· Sense of commitment and responsibility, and an ability to take the initiative
· Excellent team player with a strong ability to network and with drive for tangible results
· Willingness and ability to learn new subjects quickly
· Fluent in German and English

Preferred skills

· Experience in functional and business process knowledge in Financials or in the area of Financial Operations is an advantage
· Experience of application development in Financials solutions is an advantage

WORK EXPERIENCE

You already have several years of experience in the development as Development Architect of software applications.

The position can be also filled as part time position
