PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Along with our customers – professional sports clubs and sports associations (e.g. DFB, 1899 Hoffenheim, FCB) – we are developing a sports solutions to manage training activities, integrate player-related information, track and analyze the performance of teams and give insight into match statistics.

After successfully supporting the German National Team during the World Cup in Brazil by delivering SAP Match Insights, the Sports and Entertainment Development Team extended the prototype into a commercial product, SAP Sports One. Since July last year Sports One, an integrated, cloud-based suite which provides a central team management and performance analysis system, has been available to soccer federations and clubs worldwide.

Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model. If you need to work flexibly from another location or at another time you can do so given your manager's agreement.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Are you passionate about sports and coding and do you want to work on the project that helped Germany win the world cup? Do you want to collaborate closely with coaching teams and players of professional clubs and federations to deliver simple but powerful sport solutions.

We are looking for open minded and creative developers to support our team to continue the development of our product. Your tasks will be centred on development in JavaScript, but there will also be the opportunity to interact with customers and take part in requirements gathering.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

· JavaScript with some knowledge of the SAP UI5 framework

· Knowledge of HANA XSengine

· A passion for sport

Preferred skills

· Knowledge of HANA Cloud Platform

· Understanding of, and interest in, sports analytics

WORK EXPERIENCE

Some developer experience would be beneficial but is not required
