SAP Hybris Revenue Cloud provides a simplified, automated approach to managing customers' CPQ, billing and ordering processes from the cloud.

You'll be part of a growing cloud operations team to ensure along with your peers smooth running cloud products in SAP Hybris Sales & Service.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Our cloud operations team is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of customer environments in the Cloud, and ensuring smooth operations and maximizing uptime. Being a cloud software (Senior) DevOps Engineer in an interdisciplinary team, you shouldn't be shy to interact with others, to share your insight, and to identify areas of improvement. In your role, you will collaborate and make sure there is a strong alignment with engineering and product management as well as other service groups. You will also be supporting the definition of our future automation and operations tooling strategies and models.

You should have a passion to operate and monitor our cloud based system landscape and customer environments along the software lifecycle, including:

• Define the product delivery roadmap to bring it into production
• Contribute to definition and optimization of operations models with high standards in all processes to ensure excellent quality
• Execute technical tasks in provisioning, operating & maintaining cloud tenants to ensure efficient delivery of system landscape support
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical standards, frameworks and operations tools together with respective development teams
• Understand and improve current effort and cost structure of cloud operations (TCO)
• Support knowledge management in the team and between operations and development
• Execute proactive monitoring and ensuring of service availability, performance & system health
• Work in an Agile development environment which requires the individual to be self-driven, take decisions independently and be flexible to cater on demand
• Required for on-call and/or after-hours support

By completing these tasks, you will play a crucial role in fulfilling our customer Service Level Agreements (SLA) such as 99.5% system availability.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills
•From experience, we know that a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, science, or business administration is instrumental to advance your development career at SAP CEC
•Customers are at the very heart of what we do. Being a customer of modern web services, you appreciate the importance of understanding the requirements of customers for providing excellent service
•Your analytical skills enable you to learn from every failure and to go forward with every iteration
•The ability to multitask and prioritize is very important to solve challenging matters and to prevent stressful situations for our customers
•Having said this, you should have solid software and operations development skills and a passion to operate cloud based applications at high quality for people like yourself: customers
•Understanding and previous knowledge about cloud automation, monitoring, success metrics and measurement, experience in cloud architectures and cloud operations tooling in a cloud foundry based environment are important for your new role;
•Being familiar with well-established tools like Jenkins, ELK-Stack or container approaches like Docker will support you in getting started in this role
•Knowledge about most recent approached in Application Performance Monitoring (APM), as well as skills in cloud based development environments like Java, Javascript and Spring Framework are beneficial
•As part of an interdisciplinary and international team, we build on your communication skills as a team player and your fluency in the English and German languages

Preferred skills
•Our software allows our customers to live in both worlds: cloud as well as non-cloud solutions. Thus, you too want to see the holistic picture and have the desire to understand the relevant paradigms for existing non-cloud SAP solutions as well
•Experience in operation, delivery or support of non-cloud applications, such as SAP Business Suite applications SAP CRM or SAP ERP, is also an advantage for you.
