P&I Tools, one of the coolest teams at SAP, is looking for a new UX designer - and that could be you!

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

P&I Tools is a global product design and development team creating the next generation of tools for internal and external customers. We are located in Walldorf (Germany), Bangalore (India) and Palo Alto (USA).

You will work on the SAP Transformation Navigator , a self-service that provides customers the ability to strategically plan their future product landscape. For example, the tool gives recommendations based on the current use of SAP products. Furthermore, it allows to look into new business capabilities and helps to prioritize future product acquisition, transitions and discussions.

We are looking for an UX designer for our team at SAP in Walldorf, Germany. You will be part of a co-located, cross-functional scrum team – consisting of developers, UX designers and product owners. The team works in a fast-paced and agile environment where ideas become reality, prototypes become products, and product increments are shipped in short cycles.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

Basics

·  You own a degree in a design-related field (product design, communication design, human-computer interaction, interaction design), or equivalent practical experience.
·  You have experience designing for multiple device types and contexts (desktop, tablet, smartphone).
·  You know what the difference between “good” and “great” work is and you are able to explain the difference.
·  You can design digital experiences with the end user in mind.
·  You have the ability to convey concepts through wireframes, flows and mockups.
·  You love to solve design problems, not just paint pretty pictures.
·  You have a strong, clean visual design sense and you utilize the visual design core principles in all you do.
·  You love to collaborate and exchange with others.
·  You are eager to learn new things, you are curious and love to try them out quickly.
·  You are very good in German (word and speech).
·  You are fluent in visual design tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch.
·  You are very good in English (word and speech).
·  This isn't a coding role, but we'd expect a familiarity with HTML and CSS.

What gets us excited

·  You can run user research and turn collected insights into interaction design.
·  You have experience with design thinking or human-centered design process and you can apply the methodology.
·  You have the ability to create quick and dirty prototypes (for example, animations with AfterEffects/Framer, click-throughs with Keynote/XD, interactive prototypes with Flintos/Proto.io, etc.).
