At Concur, we embrace common Agile principles and practices, and strive to ensure that our tools do not impede our progress. To accelerate this effort, we’re looking for an experienced and passionate leader to synchronize our Agile tools and systems with our Agile practices. This unique role will require the ability to understand and interpret present and future needs of teams with respect to the tools that underpin work processes, as well as involve engaging teams as a Scrum Master to ensure an appreciation for the ground level challenges facing Agile teams.
In this role you will be working across Concur to create and own Agile processes within Jira and Aha!, and will be instrumental in defining guidelines for future enhancement and development of these systems. You’ll also train Agile teams on the new processes and systems to help them migrate from current processes and work, and will drive implementation of automation in the tools and systems that support our Agile teams.

Responsibilities
· Lead and provide technical guidance for implementing functionality to support agile workflows within JIRA and integration/consistency with Aha!
· Work alongside our Operations teams to administer JIRA and Aha!, formulating visions and plans to support the needs of Agile Teams across Concur.
· Drive best practices and standards for implementing and leveraging processes within the Jira system.
· Determine ways to optimize and improve setup and process workflows and identify where functionality can or cannot meet user requests.
· Provide guidance and best practices for supporting needs of teams and business leadership with meaningful operational / performance metrics and status reports based on data.
· Product Ownership for Jira and Aha! as well as other tools and systems as needed with regard to Agile process and workflows.
· Evaluate existing elements to drive optimization and improvements in JIRA and Aha!.
· Develop metrics, dashboards, and advanced filters in to support the needs of teams and business leadership for meaningful operational/performance metrics and data.
· Anticipate and aggressively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent work completion.
· Provide guidance and best practices for supporting needs around analytics and interpretation of data.
· Define the roadmap of enhancements in our agile tools and represent the needs of stakeholders across Concur.
· Collaborate on problem resolution, team decisions, and project planning.
· Embrace, coach, and evangelize Agile values and principles to individuals and teams across Concur.
· As time allows, provide Scrum Master support to Agile Teams: drive and lead planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives for your team(s).
Requirements
· 3-5 years of experience administering, configuration, and support of Jira and Aha!/other portfolio management tool.
· Excellent analytical , problem solving, and process implementation skills.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Hands on user experience with Jira Core or Jira Software (formerly Jira Agile / Greenhopper), with strong understanding of business processes and experience leveraging Jira to maximize and improve those processes.
· Experience customizing workflows for multiple projects and create custom fields, new issue types, workflow statuses, transitions, post-functions, field configurations, mandatory fields, and workflow schemes.
· Excellent understanding of Jira workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screen schemes , etc. across multiple projects and complex interactions.
· Excellent knowledge of SDLC and experience working with Agile Teams.
· Ability to work independently across functions and work with all levels of users and management.
· Ability to analyze, review, and document current functionality to determine potential areas of improvement.
· Ability to build collaborative relationships across the organization.
· Ability to work in a fast-changing, dynamic, and Agile environment, including the ability to manage time and maintain an excellent work ethic.
· 2+ years Scrum Master experience.
Strongly Desired
· Working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban.
· Hands on experience using Aha! as an administrator and user or with a similar portfolio tool including integrations with other tools such as Jira.
· Advanced knowledge of Jira features, with excellent understanding of general administration and configuration to maximize efficiency in using the tool.
· Experience working with solution providers and consultants as well as negotiating contracts and licensing.
· Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
· Certified Product Owner (CSPO).
· Experience leading projects and plans for software as a Product Owner.
· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, CS, MIS, or work equivalent.
· Advanced knowledge of Aha! features, with excellent understanding of general administration and configuration to maximize efficiency in using the tool.
