Role Summary/Purpose

The Maintenance Technician repairs, installs, and relocates or modifys mechanical systems, electrical and electronic controls, programmable controls, motors and motors controls, power tools, and building systems such as cranes, fans, plumbing, lighting and HVAC systems.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Maintenance Technician, you will:

·  Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, which may require the following trades: mechanical, electrical, electronics, plumbing, pipe fitting, ventilation, air conditioning, arc and acetylene welding, etc.

·  Perform and assist in assembly and installation of new or used complex production or plant equipment and systems
·  Work as a team with other maintenance personnel to identify and implement improvements to reliability, cost and safety
·  Perform project work, including metal fabrication, welding, electrical, etc.
·  Use a variety of hand and power tools, test and measuring devices, such as multi-meters, and micrometers
·  Utilize prints, instructions, sketches, schematic diagrams, specifications, and equipment or service manuals
·  Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to supervisor
·  Read work blueprints / instructions, lift or carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods on concrete floors, and wear a respirator to filter out toxic fumes and dust
·  Follow prescribed Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) rules and regulations
·  Perform other related duties as required by the Company
Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma / GED
·  Minimum of 1 year of Industrial or Military Maintenance experience
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

·  Ability and willingness to pass Weisen Mechanical Aptitude Test (LM provided)
Desired Characteristics

·  Knowledge of Electrical Troubleshooting, PLC, and Hydraulic Troubleshooting
·  Trade License in Welding, Electrical, HVAC, Boiler’s License or Plumbing
·  Detail oriented
·  Ablity to work successfully with others on a team

·  Ability to operate basic hand and power tools
