We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of:
Research & Bioprocess Development Associate
YOUR MISSION
The Bioprocess Development Intern will provide scientific, technical and organizational support at Sanofi’s Bioprocess Development Group (USP) Frankfurt throughout its biologics projects. A special emphasis will be laid on process optimization and intensification activities.
MAIN TASKS
Perform cell revitalization, seed trains and end scale bioreactor cultivations
Plan and perform experiments for process optimization from mini reactor to 200 L STR
Support the implementation of new cultivation and monitoring/control technologies in animal cell cultures
Support the preparation of solutions and cell culture medium
Manage, discuss and present scientific results
CANDIDATE'S PROFILE
Training / Education:
Scientific diploma (degree, engineer) in Biotechnology, Bioprocess or Biochemical Engineering
Preferable experience in bioreactor fermentation and animal cell cultivation
Good analytical and organizational skills
Good PC-knowledge and skills to manage and present scientific results in English
Languages (reading, writing, speaking skill)
English: fluent
German: advantageous
