Program SaVIE (VIE of Sanofi) is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of:
Regional Market Access Specialist
- VIE Contract (W/M)
The primary responsibility of the role is to support the Sanofi Pasteur APAC MAx (Market Access) Lead :
- To act as primary point of contact to the affiliate’s teams for Market Access-related matters (Public Market introductions), that require above-country support and coordination with Global Market Access and/ or transversal teams.
- To support and advice affiliate teams in developing their plans for Sanofi Pasteur
- To support MAx affiliate teams in preparing their Payer Value Propositions, through close collaborations with Regional and Global teams, practice sharing with other countries and regions, as well as other functions as relevant (marketing, medical, public affairs)
Key Accountabilities:
Development of country market access strategies and plans for SP vaccines (public markets), aligned with global market access strategy and tools, and contribute to ensure affiliate access strategy and plans preparedness :
- Understand local payers’ decision-making processes and how it impacts SP vaccines access to funding;
- Review / challenge local access plans, taking into consideration global market access strategy and global payer’s value proposition and local specificities
- Appreciate the time needed to generate and communicate the evidence to external decision-makers
- Support the organization of specific MAx workshops and regular follow up calls with the affiliates
- Support the affiliate teams in the development of local payers materials for SP vaccines (Introduction on Public market):
- Support the localization of vaccines’ payer value propositions considering local decision-making processes and drivers;
- Ensure the involvement of the country key functions and expertise in access-related topics
- Support the organization of specific MAx workshops and regular follow up calls with the affiliates
Support implementation and follow-up of Market Access research, such as :
- Preparation of the Request For Proposal
- Preparation of vendors briefing
- Follow-up on Project progress and delivery
Major challenges:
- Interact with key functions (Regional HEOR, Medical, Marketing, Public Affairs, GMAx & Franchises) to collect any information, material necessary to support the affiliate MAx teams, and seek for their alignment.
- The job entails continuous collaboration and interaction to global, regional and country internal stakeholders.
- The job holder needs to be capable of adaptation according to the level of countries’ maturity in terms of health economics, both internally and externally.
- The region is composed of countries which are heterogeneous in terms of vaccination practices, acceptance, coverage rates and perceived importance by all country stakeholders. Access pathways are heterogeneous and Health economics criteria are not uniformly applied.
Candidate:
Education/experience
- Scientific Degree (Pharmacist, MD, Biology) with Master in Health Economics
- Previous experience in Health Economics or Market Access
- Previous experience in a Pharma company / consultancy
- Experience in a foreign country, such as academic program or internship is a plus
- General knowledge of vaccinology and infectious diseases;
- Interest for Public Health and Asian region
Skills:
- Understanding of payer environment & trends likely to impact the Sanofi Pasteur business
- Understanding of Health Economics and of Scientific publications
- Ability to navigate in a transversal matrix environment
- Ability to deal with cross-expertise and cross-cultural teams as a network.
- Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English; written and oral communication skills in French would be a plus;
- Project management and organization skills
- Good and rigorous analytical capabilities
- Ability to deliver concrete results
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (esp. Powerpoint, xls)
