Job description

Program SaVIE (VIE of Sanofi) is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. PLEASE NOTE since the VIE Program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

MISSION:
The objective of Public Affairs in Asia & JPAC is to support Sanofi business from pipeline to patient by demonstrating our consistent value to the external stakeholders. Our ambition is to be recognized as the leading pharmaceutical company when it comes to access to market. Public Affairs drives the strategy setting, engagement, and activation of all external stakeholders who drive or influence the policies that determine our ability to successfully secure patient’s access to medicines and vaccines.
The Public Affairs Coordinator AsiaPAC will be in charge to support Asia & JPAC Head of Public Affairs on the implementation of key initiatives to support our business growth with a focus on the following main topics:
1. Influenza vaccination: Coordinate the initiative for policy messaging roll out at country level to accelerate public funding of new recommendation (ie: QIV, Flu HD)
- Contribute to support countries in the development of Public Affairs country action plan
- Coordinate with Medical, Marketing & Regulatory teams at Region level to ensure alignment with Regional Launch Plan
- Represent Asia & JPac Public Affairs in ad-hoc meetings
- Cascade updates from Global to countries
2. Sanofi Genzyme: Coordinate the initiative for policy messaging roll out at country level to accelerate public funding of rare disease treatments in ASEAN and the reimbursement for new Therapies (Atopic dermatitis, Asthma)
- Contribute to support countries in the development of Public Affairs country action plan
- Coordinate with Medical, Marketing & Regulatory teams at Region level to ensure alignment with Regional Launch Plan
- Represent Asia &JPac Public Affairs in ad-hoc meetings
- Cascade updates from Global to countries
3. Financing Innovation in Health: Contribute to the coordination of the initiative in the Region
- Monitor activities in the Region
- Develop message content for multilateral aids (ADB) and bilateral aids (AFD, DFAT, JICA…)
- Coordinate workshop and projects with Milken Institute in Indonesia and explore possible extensions
- Manage experience sharing and roadmaps with country teams
4. Support Public Affairs activity and efficiency
- Develop non-traditional stakeholder map per country
- Represent Asia and JPac Region in ad-hoc internal meetings
- Bring creativity and innovative ideas and experience sharing in the Region
- Support the governance model for the Region
- Support PA&A Region Head in implementation of new model
- Participate and contribute to APac Public Affairs network (monthly Teleconferences, MMVPR meeting)
PROFILE:
- Background Education: Public Health/business development/Sciences Po.
- 1 to 2 years of Previous professional experience in the area
- Previous experience in the consulting firm would be a plus
- International experience is required
FULL PROFICIENCY in English is mandatory
Chinese or Asian Language is definitely a plus
