• Managing a team of Service Engineers responsible for the installation, the repair and retrofit of Alcon equipment • Service agreements management : offer new service agreements, enter and renew service agreements, invoicing, planning of Preventive maintenance visits for service technicians, credit, .. • Responsible for working according to the ISO 9001:2000, 13485:2003 guidelines and the relevant SOP’s. • Controlling purchase, reception and stock of spare parts • Management of Service software system : Enter service requests, remove defective spare parts, check agenda, verify filled in data conform regulations,.. • Technical document control coordinator • Management of demo equipment and demo accessories stock in Bornem • Management test equipment calibration • Handling customer disputes about service, service invoicing, service complaints,… • Contributing to the customer satisfaction related to Alcon equipment and the service. • Reporting of product complaints to local Regulatory Affairs • Providing reports to management

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

• Minimum: Technical study in a relevant field and electro technical background. • Medical background is mandatory. • Preferred: University degree in electro technical field. • Fluent in English, Dutch and French • Minimum: Service engineer working experience for one to two years. • Preferred: Knowledge of ophthalmology, surgical procedures and techniques. Worked for three to five years as a service engineer in ophthalmology. • Excellent knowledge of ophthalmology. • Excellent knowledge of surgical procedures, techniques and trends.
