Job Summary:
Novartis is currently searching for a Supplier Management Data Analyst with A to join the Novartis Business Center to support transition of Procurement department.
Job Purpose:
Manage and maintain general level data for suppliers to create cross-divisional view of the supply data base Coordinate due diligence activities (related to NFCM controls in scope and coordination of other risk assessment related activities e.g. reports on supplier financial stability) Handle various supplier management related queries ensuring high customer satisfaction and fulfillment of organization’s KPIs as per defined SLAs
Key Responsibilities:
Operational activities:
• Check for supplier requests completeness
• Check for supplier requests uniqueness (de-duplication)
• Enrich supplier requests according to external sources and justify data for correctness
• Apply global data standards for new supplier requests
• Liaise with local organizations and follow-up on overdue supplier requests
• Manage data changes on general fields for shared suppliers (cross-sites alignment)
• Manage blocking of suppliers globally for quality reasons
• Manage supplier data migration
• Manage supplier initial Data Quality & Load
• Ensure Supplier initial Data Load with high-quality data from source systems
• Perform duplicate vendor identification for NFCM scope controls
• Perform quarterly quality check for SIM requests
• Handle all supplier management incoming queries through all communication channels (phone, emails, ticketing tool, skype) from the end user community
• Achieve high customer satisfaction by applying customer in all helpdesk activities (troubleshooting, active listening, subject matter knowledge, ownership, managing customer expectations and timeliness)
• Diagnose, coordinate and resolve customer queries
• Conduct initial troubleshooting using knowledge of products, processes and services, all applicable SW platforms
• Provide direct resolutions to “in scope” technical queries
• Follow up on all queries with relevant parties (end users, 2nd level support, CAB manager etc.) until resolution
• Manage customer expectations via transparent ways of working, proposing alternatives, involving additional team members, if and when required (e.g. 2nd level support, CAB manager, etc.)
Supplier Hierarchies Maintenance:
• Refresh supplier hierarchies on quarterly basis
• Prepare the files for hierarchy refresh
• Monitor periodically the accuracy of existing supplier hierarchies with global and local category leads
• Monitor spend penetration with supplier hierarchies out of GDWH
• Align existing data between divisional BW, GDWH and MDM
• Prepare files to send for matching for supplier with missing DUNS Number
Knowledge Management and Process Maintenance:
• Maintain knowledge base of relevant processes and services (SOP, work instructions, process maps, training materials etc.)
• Identify product/process/service improvement areas by applying continuous improvement methodology
• Share best practices identified with other organizations

Desired profile
Minimum requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
• University Degree
• Fluent Arabic and fluent English are mandatory
• Additional European language is preferred
• 2-3 years of experience at a comparable position
• Several years of experience in process industry or similar area
• 3 years of experience working in multi-national industries (preferably Pharmaceutical)
