Job Description

The Sr. Pricing Analyst aids in implementing the US Vision Care pricing strategy and policy through quantitative, data-driven analysis, reporting, cross-functional teamwork and recommendations.

Drive Price optimization and Price Setting for lens and lens care products Provide analysis for new product launches, MSRPs and other prices
Drive Tactical Execution o Monitor compliance with Alcon sales and ordering / pricing policies in the market place
Create and maintain pricing information technology solution
Develop reports on compliance pricing programs impact on business results Enhance & manage exceptions process for promotions and prices escalating per policy
Provide ad-hoc analysis for Manager, Sr. Management and other stakeholders as needed
Lead analysis for annual pricing strategy/policy and aides in price change execution plans
Create standard pricing data management tools and reporting tools
Provide a rigorous analytical foundation for decision making
Works among pricing team & BPA to synthesize marketplace dynamics with internal assignments
Aid in strategic pricing projects as identified by Manager
Aid in Promotional program development and utilization
Provide analysis on discount programs and other tactical pricing initiatives
Aid in pricing strategy / policy implementation
Execute price changes when they occur by working cross-functionally Consumer Rebates
Drive financial optimization and value development of lens rebate values Provide ongoing financial tracking and analysis to Director, Finance, and Sr. Leadership
Provide ongoing performance analysis for overall program and by brand / sub-brand
Drive Tactical Execution o Create and manage implementation timelines, including materials development
Monitor overall Customer Service performance and manage escalation processes
Lead creation of new materials, with Director input, ensuring on-time delivery
Aid in program strategy / financial implementation
Participate in strategic development of future offers / program structure from both financial and customer service perspective

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

.Education

BA/ BS or minimum 2 years equivalent experience

1-3 yrs experience in pricing preferred, 5-8 years analytical experience preferred

Strong analytical and communication capability preferred

Finance / Sales / Brand or Customer Marketing experience preferred. Must desire challenging, analytical work and be able to communicate detailed analytical data to all levels of management.

Should work well in a team environment and possess a high degree of initiative and drive. Cross-functional talent a plus. Ability to lead projects and adhere to strict time-lines and details a plus.
