Job Description

•This position is responsible to coordinate, execute, maintain, repair and install all types of plumbing equipment, domestic water systems, sewer systems, chill water and heating water systems and related devices as an expert in the field.
•Subject Matter expert for review of plumbing scope on renovations, expansions and new capital work ensuring campus standards are followed and as-built drawings/specification are maintained.
•Responsible for annual certification of campus back-flow prevention devices.
•Coordinate, troubleshoot, repair, inspect and maintain plumbing equipment including faucets, lavatories, water closets, water heaters, boilers, back-flow devices, valves and water meters.
•Repair or replace water lines, chill water/heating water lines and sewer lines.
•Monitors operation and maintains heating and cooling valves, steam distribution, water cooling equipment and lower pressure boilers, piping and filters.
•Maintain autoclave, steam prv stations, 300 psi steam valves, steam to water heat exchangers.
•Utilize CMMS system for all work performed and ensure timely response to work orders.
•Close coordination with the Planner and CMMS Administrator is required.
•Coordinate work with contractors including oversight during and at work completion.
