Novartis is currently recruiting for ServiceNow for HR System Lead to join the Global HR Team.
Job Purpose:
The purpose of the ServiceNow for HR System Lead is to lead, manage and govern the Novartis ServiceNow for HR implementation. This covers functionality such as the portal, knowledge base, case management, integrated telephony and chat, reporting & analytics, and interfaces. The role is responsible for ensuring business requirements are successfully translated into solution design and configuration, complies with cross-domain needs, user acceptance testing occurs and ensures the platform adheres to both company specific and industry compliance requirements.
The role holder will regularly provide best practice recommendations, assist in solving point-in-time challenges in case of major impact and partner with internal stakeholders to increase the effective use and adoption of the ServiceNow system. The role holder will be measured on the utilization of the platform, engagement with internal IT and ServiceNow as business partners and overall satisfaction of key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive the ServiceNow for HR platform roadmap working with stakeholders and the internal and external User Groups to understand business strategy and priorities for the platform
• Facilitate the transition from implementation project to operations and supports the drive towards a stable operating model
• Review, approve and sign-off business processes, user requirements, design and structure/ data definitions (approval by the System Owner means that this plan de-scribes the appropriate validation activities to be performed and that the appropriate business and technical review has been conducted)
• Ensure that learnings from previous implementations are incorporated into global processes and system design – facilitating global scalability and meets the concept of “One HR”
• Ensure, together with the Service Solutions & Tools (SST) Solution Operations Man-ager, that the system operates in compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines, with the objective of maintaining the accuracy and security of all data re-siding in the ServiceNow system
• Maintain 3rd level expert knowledge of the ServiceNow cloud-based HR Service Management product to ensure maximization of an automated approach to answering routine employee inquiries and fulfilling service requests
• Work closely with stakeholders at global, regional and country levels as required; these are usually, HRBPs,ITBPs, HR Boards, Steering Committees, CoEs / NBS HR Leadership, IT, Finance, Procurement, PLS, especially other domans using the Ser-viceNow platform
• Ensure effective internal communication, and alignment with NBS HR, CoEs, global, regional and country communication strategies and plans
• Build measures of success for ServiceNow for HR and ensure they are includes in operational reviews with the Service Delivery Review Board
• Support development and management of thew ServiceNow Release & Change Man-agement plan
• Ensure documentation, processes and standards are maintained or created for the platform
• Act as an advocate for the ServiceNow platform, driving adoption

Desired profile
Minimum requirements
• University degree / Graduate degree
• Fluent in English, additional regional language(s) an advantage
• Knowledge and experience of service management / delivery technology/ tools (i.e. ServiceNow, Ticketing, Telephony, Chat platforms)
• Experience with HR cloud-based solutions, preferably ServiceNow
• Ideally 3 to 5 years’ systems, data & knowledge management experience working in a lead role within a HR Shared Services / Customer Service Delivery environment within an international environment.
• Experience with SAP HR or other ERP HR systems
• 3 – 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a HR context
• Six Sigma/Quality Management certification preferred
• Broad experience in HR Processes
• Experience with GxP, Computer System Validation, Data Privacy and Compliance requirements
