Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Portfolio Analyst role is to manage, develop, and optimize primarily the Swedish portfolio for substitutable prescription drugs. Develop and leverage from a deep understanding of the pricing mechanisms of substitutable prescription-based pharmaceuticals, and based on this, devise value-adding insights through in-depth analyses. Be a strong driver of the monthly pricing cycles for the Swedish business, and the future product portfolio in order to maximize both the short- and long-term business for Sandoz Nordics. The Portfolio Analyst will also be a key driver for boosting internal- and external collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• The delivery of sales and profit objectives through effective ownership and collaboration cross BU/FU in the Nordic.
• Partly responsible for the Scandinavian Rx forecast, launches, pruning’s, write off and priorities portfolio-sales cross the countries to optimize sales and profit.
• To devise short- and long term price strategy in close collaboration with CM and pricing excellence team.
• Responsible for analytics on portfolio and customer level.
• Define local pricing and go to market approach in alignment with the rest of the commercial team for the national countries, with focus on Sweden
• Ensure plans/strategies accommodate the changes taking place in the market and respond to customer need.
• Responsible for COMPIS and SAP uploads, information to authorities, wholesalers, and driving TrackWise
• Responsible for uploads to TLV, LiiV, wholesalers and back-up for other Scandinavian countries
• Once a month collect Compis tool for SE and upload/check of price submission
• To develop knowledge sharing and processes in the pricing to be more effective and informative on molecule and SKU level.
• To ensure knowledge sharing on competitor level about launches, new pricing strategies, stock outs etc.
• To inform/upload relevant information to the authorities in Scandinavia, launches, stock outs, write drawls etc.
• To manage the Strategic portfolio plan through the price setting cross SE/DK tendering.
• Maintain a review of the optimal structure and deployment of the portfolio.
• Take ownership to ensure that effective working relationships are in place across the multi-disciplinary team within the function and cross function at a Nordic level to obtain input to plans/ programs and take ownership to implement plans as required.
• To inspire all relevant personnel within and across functions through communication of the business units with vision, clarity of direction and leading by example.

Desired profile
Minimum requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
• University degree Marketing/Business Studies, MBA Pharmacy & life science preferred
• English fluent, one Scandinavian languages fluent
- Experience in consultancy or project management.
- Experience of 1-3+ years in a sales position
- Good understanding of country, regional and local dynamics, including regulatory and market environments
- Understanding of product launch and product commercialization processes - Knowledge of process effectiveness and basic tools
- Great sense of detail
- High degree of adaptability and ability to influence
- High level of drive and the ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks and portfolios simultaneously in an effective manner
- Experience from operating in a Nordic set-up
