Job Summary:
Novartis is currently searching for a P2P Business Partnering Specialist to join the Finance Accounts Payable team in Prague.
Job Purpose:
The P2P Business Partner is the ultimate Procure to Pay process specialist, acting as a central point of contact for the divisional stakeholders and its suppliers. He/she will work with entity/process selected super users, key users and management to drive further process knowledge and improvements. The P2P Business Partner enables and supports the execution and delivery of quality services of Accounts Payable, Transactional Procurement, AP/T&E issue resolution, Analytics & Performance Management while providing Functional Client Relationship Management for the Novartis Group of entities, having the oversight over the end-to-end processes of Order to Pay. This role ensures that systems, documentation, compliance are in place to provide highly effective and efficient end-to-end processes to the Novartis divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinates the P2P functional relationship management to BPAs, CFOs, Account SPOCs and other Key internal/external stakeholders
• Builds trustworthy partnerships with Divisional and NGSC key stakeholders
• Drives alignment and buy-in of P2P strategy cross-divisionally
• Strengthens the relationship and leverages on Cross divisional standardization opportunities
• Ensures delivery of end user training plan and CRM Strategy Delivers on scheduled on site support, focus groups and other CRM interactions
• Issue Resolution: Acts as a bridging element in between the stream operations and the end user of P2P
• Provides escalation point for team members in liaising with the division’s users & suppliers
• Ownership over controlling activities of entity/process specific volumes management
• Supports transitions and knowledge transfer and updates to the P2P team based in Prague and is responsible for ensuring delivery of critical processes.
• Timely implements effective processes to tackle root cause of P2P issues impacting POT and other relevant KPIs Acts hands on in the occasion of backlog identification, supporting the Solution Center Performance & Analytics • Monitors monthly KPIs for selected scope
• Provides qualitative insights to process/systems and customer interaction • Ensures timely execution of monthly closing activities when applicable, such as BS reconciliations, Accruals reports, GR/IR reports, NFCM reports etc. • Coordinates actions or initiatives focusing on process improvement and customer satisfaction increase
• Performs analysis on recurring challenges to enable continuous process improvement Continuous Improvement
• Collaborates with P2P Project leads in the delivery of project portfolio.
• Identifies and implement “Quick-Wins”
• Continuous improvement.
• Promotes standardization of processes cross-entity and cross-divisionally. • Supports process changes to achieve efficient and effective E2E processes.

Desired profile
Minimum requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
• University level degree in Business Administration/ Economics/Finance or Chartered Accountant / MBA desirable Lean/ Six Sigma Certified is a plus
• English + Other relevant EU language
• At least 2 years of experience in a shared services environment, with in-depth functional expertise
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization
• Previous experience with stakeholder management
• SAP knowledge
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work with MS Office software packages, specially Excell ,Visio, Power-point.
• Good people skills, leadership exposure
