The Order to Cash (O2C) Collection Specialist enables and supports the execution of quality O2C services for the Novartis Group entities, securing company assets by applying proper actions to manage and collect receivables, such as dunning, blocked order management, credit lines monitoring.
Job Purpose:
The purpose of the O2C Collection Specialist role is to enable and support to manage Novartis credit risk by applying both preventive measures (related to customer credit lines, blocked order analysis) and successive mitigating actions (dunning, support to solve disputes).
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the measurement and delivery of service levels and KPI targets
• Interact proactively within NGSC (Novartis Global Service Center), Divisions and customers to apply the collection strategy and manage credit risk.
• Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for related policies and processes, drives productivity and continuous improvement, process changes and leading practices to have an efficient and effective process
• Act service oriented to enable service lines to deliver a high-performing organization and drive improvements/standard solutions while cultivating a customer service focus culture
• Ensure compliance with Novartis Accounting Manual (NAM), Novartis Financial Controls Manual (NFCM) and regulatory requirements and implementation in internal guidelines
• Run the collection processes, e.g. order releases, customer dunning and calls, credit lines monitoring, master data maintenance, direct debit payments in accordance with laws and Novartis required standards

Minimum requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Must-haves
• University level degree in Business Administration/ Economics/Finance
• 1-2 years of financial experience, with good functional expertize
• 2-4 years of collection experience
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national organization
• SAP knowledge
• English, both written and spoken
Nice-to-haves
• Lean/ Six Sigma Certified or experience of managing projects driving performance
• SAP RM
• Previous experience in similar position in Financial Services
