The program is intended to give practical experience to candidates who are interested in career in Public Affairs in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
It is intended for students who recently graduated from an Internationally Accredited Schools of Public Health, Pharmacy, Medicine, or Health Sciences with a degree in pharma co-economics, health policy, pharmacy, or medicine. In some cases, candidates with previous experience in market access, health care consultancy, and/or DRA with relevant experience may be considered for the Internship. Where appropriate, students who completed a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program from and Accredited Business School with interest in pursuing careers in Health Sector may also qualify. The duration of the program is for 12-months starting in January 2018. The position will be based in Dubai; therefore, the candidate must be a resident of the UAE and legally is eligible to work in the UAE
Desired profile
Minimum requirements
1. Completion of doctoral program (MD, PhD, PharmD) from an internationally accredited university. Candidates with M.S. Pharm or Master of Science degree in disciples related to Health Services Research (e.g. Public health, epidemiology, Health Policy) will be considered after review of the candidate's profile, formal interviews, and receiving letters of recommendation from advisors and university professors.
2. Ability to work in the any of the Countries where Novartis operates, but preferably in Dubai, for the program duration, and to be continuously present on site for the total duration of the program.
3. Does not have any conflict of interest (non-compete agreement while actively enrolled in the internship program)
