Market Access Manager
Novartis Oncology, Czech Republic, is currently opening a unique role in Prague, for which we are looking for experienced candidates within the area of market access.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implementation of a market access strategy to ensure Novartis growth.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, i.e. pricing and reimbursement authorities, health insurance companies, Ministry of Health, SUKL.
• Close collaboration with Head of Market Access and Public Affairs to drive innovative market access approach in accordance with Czech legislation and internal rules.
• Generate and report ideas about new methods and processes to maximize market access opportunities.
• Build greater awareness (within Novartis) of the National Healthcare environment, Pharma regulations and the country’s political landscape, in order to optimize Oncology product access strategies and disseminate this knowledge within the business unit.
• Ensure compliance in all interaction throughout the organization and make sure all activities are in line with internal and external policies.
• Take responsibility for submission to SUKL, understanding payers’ requirements and needs translating them in high quality health economic evidence.
• Leverage results from epidemiological studies, economic models, clinical trials and budget impact analyses and support price negotiation.
• Prepare, together with a cross-functional team and based on knowledge of environment, any health economic data and real-world evidence to be submitted to SUKL, payers, Ministry of Health and other stakeholders to sustain the optimal market access conditions throughout the whole product lifecycle. • Gain a thorough understanding of the health economic documentation.
• Input and validate payers’ insights throughout the product development.
• Take personal responsibility for ensuring results, encouraging change and fostering continual organizational improvement.
• Complete all administrative reports in a timely and appropriate manner.

Desired profile
Minimum requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
• University degree, branch of health economics is advantage
• Min. 3 years of experience in market access / brand access / pricing and reimbursement
• Previous experience working with stakeholders including Ministry of Health, SUKL and VZP is a great advantage
• Excellent Czech language and fluent English language required
• Well-developed understanding of local environments
• Proven ability to develop trust-based relationships with government officials, regulators, and other key stakeholders
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbally and in written form
• High ethical standards and compliance sensitiveness
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally/country/divisionally
