As a Market Access Liaison in Novartis Oncology you will get the opportunity to work with an industry leading product portfolio and pipeline. Together with a competent and performance oriented cross-functional team, your objective is to make sure that Norwegian patients get access to our new medicines.

Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Market Access Liaison role is to establish effective partnerships with national/regional/local payers and budget holders throughout the life-cycle of the assigned products, in order to ensure patient access and reward innovation, by:
• maximizing commercial opportunities;
• developing and presenting the customized product/solution value proposition;
• proposing innovative projects, initiatives and services to the drive mind-set from pill to solution;
• contributing to local/account policy shaping and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
To develop and execute commercial strategies (i.e. tenders, offers, deals) in line with plan decisions through viable commercial relationships.
• To develop, implement and measure the progress of account plans and to ensure they are fit for purpose to facilitate and accelerate patient access to our new medicines, and to work in close collaboration with the other customer facing roles (i.e. CRTLs, MSLs, GenMed KAM).
• To champion innovative approaches to develop National/Regional/Local value propositions, by means of real-world evidence, translation/customization of results from economic models and budget impact analyses.
• To gain and to secure positive local policies that are beneficial to Novartis (including guidelines, treatment protocols, endorsement statements or similar output that result in positive sales climate) for new products and in line brands, by engaging own stakeholders and through internal cross-functional collaboration.
• To develop, maintain and share excellent understanding of the healthcare system, considering the Oncology pipeline, including CDx together with structured stakeholder mapping and an in-depth understanding of their needs.
• To perform "competitive intelligence" activities on the account and in the territory and to identify any business opportunities or threats.
• To ensure compliance in all interaction throughout the organization and to maintain regular liaison with the Regional and Local compliance function to ensure that all processes and activities are in line with internal and external policies.

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
• University Degree (scientific, economics or business degree)
• Local country language and English
• Experience from Market Access or Health Economics is an advantage, but not a requirement.
