Logistics Coordinator, Alcon, Denmark

Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Logistics Coordinator role is to assure excellent delivery service at optimal cost for one business unit within the company. Lead and coordinate projects to optimize the logistic flow, warehouse and carrier performance, launches of new products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse management
• Follow up on performance and errors including carriers
• Preparing Daily and Discrepancy reports, keeping track on the orders
• Arranging reports to customers
• Transport of equipment
• Support of Local inventory management
• Troubleshooting, supporting customer service
• Managing local inventory activities

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Relevant logistics education - Engineer or similar level
• English is a must, one Nordic language is preferred
• Warehouse and data management experience
• Preferred - 2-3 years of experience at similar position
• Preferred - SAP knowledge in the area of logistics
• Work experience in an international company is a plus
• Good level of MS Excel
• Good communication skills and open personality
