Job Description
The purpose of the TMOD Intern is to provide support to the assigned TMOD team with the implementation and successful execution of the company’s Employee Engagement tool (GLINT) and other related projects while under immediate supervision. In this role, the Intern will have exposure to the impact of culture on Alcon’s business and play a key role in a top HR priority for the organization for 2018.
Major Accountabilities
Operational Support for the execution of GLINT pilots including:
• Immediate focus on implementing pilots for Engagement, 180 feedback and Onboarding
• Conduct research on best practices and provide recommendations on how to improve implementation and execution
• Manage system implementation and testing (focus on translation of data feeds into dashboards)
• Assist with the development of Change Management and Communication Strategy for implementation and execution
• Conduct a ‘lessons learned’ post implementation and refine approach / processes as needed
• Document processes on implementation and execution
• Provide analytics support
• Assist with the Action Planning integration to ongoing manager development
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Successful management and coordination of all logistics for the implementation of the survey
• Clear and simple processes that are documented and easy to follow
• Provision of recommendations on best practices approaches and identification of areas for growth and improvement
• Strong communication, collaboration and partnership with TMOD team, global sites and the vendor (GLINT)

Minimum requirements
Current student enrolled in:
• Industrial & Organizational Psychology preferred or;
• MBA with an emphasis in Organizational Development or Organizational Behavior
• Must be able to work at least 30 hours/week through fall and spring semester
