Sandoz is currently recruiting for a Hospital Tender Administrator to join Sandoz on a permanent basis
This role will be responsible for supporting the Hospital Tender Manager in identifying tender opportunities and will be responsible for the preparation and submission of NHS and Private Hospitals tenders in the UK and management of contracts.
Job purpose
You will be supporting the business with analytics to drive sales activities and monitor tenders/contracts whilst providing administration support to the hospital tender team.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor tender portals on a weekly basis & review tender opportunities
• Support tender preparation and submit tenders according to deadlines
• Ensure appropriate internal approvals and processes are met for tender submissions, tender awards and contracts
• Notify wholesales & homecare companies regarding new contracts and price changes
• Monitor stock levels in wholesalers and review inventory levels with Supply Chain. Work to mitigate any potential penalty claims.
• Resolve internal & external pricing queries
• Support the Head of Retail, Hospital Tender Manager & Hospital Business Manager with projects and reporting

The ideal candidate will have
• Educated to A Level standard, preferably including English and a business related subject
• Grade A-C at GCSE in Maths or equivalent English
• Previous administration experience, preferably within a tender or contracts environment
