The Global Manager, Learning Deployment & Instructional Design will leverage instructional design capabilities to deploy learning and development strategies and initiatives to enhance the capabilities and upskill Vision Care Commercial associates. This individual will employ advanced instructional design principles to create learning modules and training curriculum in addition to assisting Global Training Managers in the development of new eLearning courses. Instructional design will also include the creation of instructor led workshops with or without an eLearning component. This individual will also be responsible for the deployment of learning modules on the ALA and AEA for the Vision Care organization.
• Creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content. Working with subject matter experts and identifying target audience's training needs for both elearning and instructor led courses.
• Assist in maintaining and implementing globally the Learning Content Management System (LCMS) and the Learning Content e-learning system (LMS) for Alcon Vision Care.
• Align with Global Training Managers in the preparation of eLearning module development for existing and newly launched technologies and product trainings.
• Help to ensure that all eLearning content is compliant with the Novartis/Alcon Compliance and Legal policies.
• Create Statement of Work contracts with vendors to ensure all requirements are within the contract, obtain signatures for said contracts, enter contract in contract management and sign off with procurement partner for all eLearning projects.
• Create, manage, and track purchase orders/invoicing for various projects • Ensure that eLearning modules are available in a timely manner and aligned with mandatory instructor led courses.
• Assist with planning of face-to-face courses including things like flights, hotel, catering, printing/shipping of materials, name badges, etc.
• Assist regional training managers (RTMs) or Region Training Coordinators with reporting of sales associate eLearning completions (transcripts) to ensure global standardization with the objective to meet prerequisites of eLearning initiatives prior to instructor led classes.
• Maintain the overall maintenance of the system for global use to include yearly contract agreement with Intuition.
• Manage the eLearning system outages, issues, working with and contact with vendors for troubleshooting.
