Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Compliance Specialist role is to enable and drive ethical business conduct through the effective implementation of the Integrity & Compliance program at the local level.
Key Responsibilities:
ESTABLISH COMPLIANCE
• Support Compliance Officer in establishing compliance standards based on internal policies and guidelines/implementing procedures (Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery and our Professional Practices Policy for interaction with HCP’s) and on applicable local laws and regulations incl. industry code, where applicable.
• Support Compliance Officer in establishing processes and SOPs for relevant policies
EMBED COMPLIANCE
• Establishing an annual local training plan for relevant policies (and ensure on-boarding and annual refreshers on compliance standards and business practices are conducted)
• Regularly monitor the completion of (e)-training courses and (e)-certification of relevant trainings and take appropriate action to ensure the agreed completion target for (e)-training is met.
• Ensure system for documenting and evidencing training completion is followed.
• Champion speak-up, transparency and a culture of integrity throughout the organization
• Continually provide advice and guidance to the business on compliance topics and challenges (including on the required approval processes)
• Together with the relevant members of the local management team, foster ethical behaviour by ensuring compliance criteria are included in objectives / incentive process
• Follow trends in the market, regulatory environment including in business practices, where needed and relevant
• Support initiatives related to cross-divisional synergies
ENFORCE COMPLIANCE
• Support Compliance Officer in Risk Management/Risk Assessment.
• Support third-party due diligence process together with relevant functions

Desired profile
Minimum requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
• Academic education on master level, probably within law, commercial law or business.
• English and fluent in at least one Nordic language
• 3-5 years of experience from the healthcare or life science industry, e.g. from a compliance role.
