General Description
Summary / Overview: Position in Manufacturing Scheduling System (MSS) group which supports full automated semiconductor factory though dispatching system development and factory analysis. Specific Job Duties: • Support, maintain, and enhance current factory automation system, focusing on automatic dispatching and system based scheduling. • Utilization of linear programming to optimize scheduling modules and simulation engine to forecast factory inventory position. • Perform production analysis to monitor and improve daily movement, equipment efficiency, and overall factory productivity. • Trace issues which inhibit factory performance, troubleshoot to determine root cause, and plan for improvement through corrective measures. • Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering departments to improve logic for systems which support on time product delivery, queue time management, equipment efficiency, and yield improvement. • Plan periodically for preventative maintenance activities and provide awareness of system performance and reliability.

Necessary Skills / Attributes
• BS Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Computer Science • 3-5 years relevant experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, Tools: (List MOST important requirements first. Then list soft skills and desired (but not required), experience. • Ability to troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis • Highly capable in data analysis and problem solving • Strong communication skills and customer focus is required • Utilization of analytical tools including Excel and Spotfire • Basic understanding of SQL is preferred • Programming through AMAT RTD, CSPI ezDFS, and GAMS a plus
