General Description
Summary / Overview: Technology Quality and Reliability department performs reliability evaluations on test structures with leading edge test equipment. We deliver accurate and timely analysis of reliability impact for process qualification, process changepoints, risk assessment of in-fab deviations, and on-going reliability monitoring. Specific Job Duties: • Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues • Utilizes detailed instructions on SOPs to perform activities • Monitors trends by observing change points and following escalation plans if any deviation to process/equipment occurs, Technician performs failure analysis and either follows detailed scripts to perform troubleshooting or escalates issue if necessary • Utilizes the key takeaways learned from day-to-day activities to make recommendations to Sr. Staff regarding potential improvements via Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) • Normally receives detailed instructions on routine work, new projects or assignments • Receives guidance/mentoring from higher level Technicians/ TRs/Supervisors to prioritize daily tasks • Setup tests on reliability test platforms including: Agilent 4080/TEL Precio, Cascade 1164 Package Reliability testers, and Espec oven systems. • Execute tests on reliability test platforms, deliver data from tests • Hardware/software troubleshooting • Periodic setup of calibration and repair of equipment • Spare part management • Hardware changeover (probe cards, probe needles, DUT boards, etc)

Necessary Skills / Attributes
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum # Years Required: • Semiconductor or high volume manufacturing experience preferred • 2 year college degree or technical school certification or equivalent experience • Two to six years of technician experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, Tools: (List MOST important requirements first. Then list soft skills and desired (but not required), experience. • Basic Knowledge/Skills: · Electro-mechanical aptitude (department specific) · Effectively communicates written/verbal within the organization · Multitask and adapt quickly to change · Work off-hours if necessary · Complete other duties as assigned • Knowledge of EM package level test systems (Aetrium or Qualitau, for example) • Knowledge of automated test systems (Agilent 4080/TEL Precio) or similar systems • A high level of self-motivation and strong communication skills (written and presentation) required. • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products is required. • Candidate must have appreciation for meeting and exceeding quality objectives.
