General Description
Summary / Overview: Systems Engineer position in Manufacturing Execution Systems group of System Engineering department. Specific role is within Manufacturing Operator Interface which performs Manual query to and interaction with production full automation systems. Specific Job Duties: • Support and maintain current factory manual operator interface to full auto systems. • Take part in new development or standardization deployments with other lines in global manufacturing network. • Assist in creating design specs to outline proposed changes to existing systems in order to fulfill customer requirements. • Communicate system change points and issue resolutions clearly to members in the department and internal customers in the company. • Plan periodically for preventative maintenance activities and provide awareness of system performance and reliability. • Work with international and local team members to resolve issues and ensure proper integration with other related systems.

Necessary Skills / Attributes
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, Tools: • Experience with UNIX, Oracle SQL, TOAD, Tortoise SVN preferred • Must have basic understanding of PL/SQL; Oracle and SQL Server experience preferred • Knowledge and use of CURL RTE is a plus • Exposure to UNIX and Windows based operating systems and hardware a plus • Knowledge and use of SimaxOI is a plus Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum # Years Required: • BS Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
