General Description
Samsung mobile is looking for a competent UX analyst and project manager with strong design background to analyze and assess UX for mobile applications on the Android OS (smart phones, tablets and wearables). The candidate will review and analyze UX, deliver UX feedback with alternative design, communicate with carriers and HQ in Korea, and manage the resolution of UX issues raised during the development process. They will be responsible to: • Review and analyze UX in the early phase of development and deliver feedbacks with design alternatives • Ensure the UI development results meet the market (consumer) demand, technical specification and requirements. • Communicate and cooperate with other related parties (product design team, Research, Engineers, & Marketing), other business functions and especially outside counter partner (Telecommunication operators and outside consultants). • Conduct group usability studies and prepare the analysis reports. • Prepare analysis reports in terms of user experience for existing mobile handsets or mobile trends.

Desired profile

Necessary Skills / Attributes
• 0 - 2 year of industry experience on the design of the interface/interaction of mobile phone or equivalent mobile media devices. • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Human factors, Human computer interactions, Interaction Design, Usability engineering, Computer Science, Psychology, Information Technology. • Highly motivated in mobile application design and heavy user of mobile applications. • Experienced in preparing professional presentation materials. • Understanding of UI related software architecture. • Working knowledge and skills in Usability Engineering. • Must be highly skilled in using office wares – MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word. • Knowledge in using relevant design tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, any prototyping tools preferred. • Strong time and project management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines. • Excellent in verbal and written communication. • Bilingual (English/Korean) preferred, but not required. • Demonstration or portfolio of wireframes/workflows of user interface/interaction design required.
