General Description
Key Objectives: Create ecommerce strategy and lead markets to implement solid ecommerce operation. Currently Samsung MENA eCommerce is not established yet while on-site sales is quite strong in the industry. Samsung MENA doesn’t have in-house online store so need to co-work with key retailers to enhance our presence on ecommerce. Set up ecommerce infra, marketing plan with proper KPIs and initiate Joint Business Plan with key e-retailers. Position Responsibilities: • Develop MENA eCommerce strategy along with key markets (UAE, KSA, Egypt, Turkey, etc) • Develop structure with key accounts on T&C, Line up portfolio • Plan digital marketing (search, social, mobile, display) focusing on online store • Analyze online sales data on key markets and find insight & implementation plan • Benchmark global best practices and find insight • Digital knowledge, able to identify trends and provide activities to tackle them • Collaborate HQ to align global strategy with local’s operation • Support local to renovate visual merchandising on external online store webpage as SIS(Shop in Shop) • Communicate & consult local market’s ecommerce operation • Develop & operate in-house online store with 3rd party partners • Develop Joint Business Plan with key online retailers to promote sales • Analyze Big data and develop targeted marketing plan • Content development for local to utilize marketing promotion • Marketing Budget management and monitor market’s operation • Under general direction, the analyst analyses requests and develops effective solutions/targets • Set key KPIs and evaluate markets’ performance • Manage agency counterparts deliveries and keep project implementation on schedule and within scope • Able to produce reporting and content aligned to KPI's and facilitate the reporting and analysis activities • Build expertise to act as a power user for the region, expected to train and educate colleagues. • Ability to understand media mix dynamics and generate cross channel recommendation detailed targeting approach The role requires excellent business acumen and good stakeholder management as well as technical skills and experience in data analysis, defining trends and generating insights. Essential skills and experience: • At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience with in planning and analytical experience. • Ability to handle multiple demands efficiently, while being extremely organized and maintaining high attention to detail • A self-starter and eager learner who enjoys working both in groups and independently • Ability to manage multiple facets of a project simultaneously. • Strong analytical skills to be able to track and generate data based insights • Must possess interpersonal skills in order to build strong positive business relationships. • Passion for the internet domain and use of technology to tackle business objectives • Solid understanding of data reporting and digital advertising best practices • Possess an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, and manage change effectively Qualifications • Bachelor/Master degree in marketing with 3-5 years of experience in ecommerce ideally in IT business. • Strong understanding of market dynamics and technology. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate marketing objectives and initiatives • Must be system oriented as well as computer literate and Advanced user of MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Bilingual preferred (Arabic & English).
