As a Metrology Applications Engineer supervisor functions as a (TR) team representative you will be responsible for leading bright field defect engineering team. The role and responsibility is to involve your team to work closely with all unit parts as well as PIE, QA, FA and manufacturing, in which it requires strong communication skills. · The lead TR is responsible for coaching and leading the team to support fab customers, and management across different areas. · The role includes writing your employees reviews for mid and end of year to evaluate their performance of daily activities and task and projects performance. As a leader responsibility and expectations is to support the company business 24/7 operation managing the employee's attendance, work requirements, and discipline to maintain respect and communications among the group to support cross and within departments. · The open TR lead position is for the metrology defect Inspection bright field team specifically focusing on Bright Field tool recipe setup projects and sustaining new & old devices, daily quality monitoring, with basic sustaining to support product movement. The Metrology team is constantly seeking projects for improvement and challenging the status quo. If you are looking for a challenge and are good at coming up with innovative solutions to difficult problems, this is the team for you. Specific Job Duties: · Managing and leading defect bright field engineers who develop and maintain product recipe for inline gap defect detection · To ensure your engineers monitor daily tool quals run for tools health check, and monitoring product trend. · To ensure your team performing recipe setup for new device and engineering recipe creation, troubleshooting measurement issue. · To communicate with your team to ensure they setup new product/ Device recipe. · To ensure your team do GPM setup and MGUIDE verification and audit to step master and process flow. · To ensure they investigate automation troubleshooting, data collection, tracking issue. · To ensure they work on problem solving and working with Unit Part engineers to find defect detection solutions, and work with BMDOA FA team to improve detection capability. · To ensure they perform TTTM activity (tool to tool matching), and execution of experiments for new metrology recipes. · To ensure they work with multiple metrology engineers on multiple projects.

Necessary Skills / Attributes
· Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Physics or related technical fields. · Requires 3+ years of experience as a defect Metrology engineer · Prefer 5+ years experience · Leadership and management experience · Strong problem solving skills · Strong customer service skills · Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point · Clear and concise communication in both written and verbal · Able to prioritize large workloads on a daily basis ( Multitasking) · Self-starter with a continuous improvement attitude · High level of curiosity
