CMP Shift Process Engineer (293601)

General Description
Summary / Overview: Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking process engineers for CMP. Challenges include defect reduction, process control and integration of CMP into leading edge devices. The successful candidate will have experience with CMP Processes, slurries, post polish cleaning, and CMP equipment. Specific Job Duties: Responsibilities include: • Review and take action on defect interlocks / thickness interlocks assigned to CMP equipment • Monitor and control CMP production paths • Review and approve interlocks release by CMP technicians • Abnormal lot disposition • Verify CMP change point management execution • CMP experimental lot management • Communicate lot and equipment status to the manufacturing organization in real time Successful candidates will possess the following skills and experience: • Prior process engineering experience a plus • BS degree in an Engineering or physical science • Has a high level of commitment to meeting timelines and goals • Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills • Aptitude and desire to learn new skills • Six Sigma certification and/or use of LEAN improvement tools a plus • Ability to thrive in a multi-culture environment Location: Austin, TX
