Position Summary: Android Automation engineer will be developing, extending and maintaining the KNOX automation framework. In addition the engineer will also be responsible to develop new test cases, Android applications, and test tools as needed. Responsibilities Include: • Develop, enhance, and maintain KNOX Automation Framework. • Create Android applications for API testing. • Integrate with continuous deployment environment such as Jenkins. • Participate in defect review, root cause analysis, and high risk reviews. • Create test harnesses and infrastructure as needed.

Desired profile

Necessary Skills / Attributes
Minimum Qualifications: • Experience in building automation frameworks on mobile platforms. • Experience in defining and executing test strategies for mobile platforms. • 2+ years of Java development experience. • BS/MS, Computer science and at least 2+ years of automation experience. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in Android application development. • Experience in automation frameworks like JUnit/Android CTS, etc. • Experience in Android UI automation tools (e.g. Google UIAutomator). • Good understanding of Android SDK, NDK. • Knowledge of the Android Framework internals. • Knowledge in Python scripting.
