About the role:
The senior tax analyst or tax analyst is a member in the income tax provision team and will assist the team with various aspects of the Company's SEC reporting requirements under ASC 740. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with relevant corporate tax experience and an eagerness to learn. Responsibilities include, but not limited, to the following:
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the preparation of the Company's quarterly and annual global income tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures, including computation of book to tax differences, tracking of deferred taxes inventory, and supporting tasks related to the tracking of ASC 718 (FAS 123R) and ASC 740-10 (FIN48)
· Generate current and deferred tax provision reports within the tax provision software and maintain such software
· Compute and maintain various tax attributes schedules
· Perform tax account analysis and reconciliations
· Help with tax forecasts with multiple scenarios
· Assist in worldwide SOX processes
· Support continuous improvements in tax provision process
Experience/Skills Required:
· 3-5 years of corporate tax experience with public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department
· Possess a solid understanding of general federal and state tax concepts; ASC 740 working experience preferred
· Strong computer skills utilizing MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
· Experience in financial systems (i.e. Oracle, Hyperion, Smartview, Essbase, data warehouse, etc) and CORPTax compliance and provision is highly desirable
· Detail-oriented with good analytical skills
· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven, dynamic environment
· Bachelor degree in Accounting, MS in Tax or CPA preferred
