Sr. Facilities Coordinator

Description:

The Sr. Facilities Coordinator will report to the HQ Facilities Manager. The Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day facilities operations for the San Francisco Urban Campus spaces. They will connect with their Lead and onsite guest services team on strategic maintenance plan and operational maintenance wish list for the San Francisco offices. They will also connect with guest services team on office supply inventory. This position will maintain the daily facilities management functions. This position requires a high level of customer service. Help make Salesforce a great place to work!

Responsibilities:

·  General upkeep of the facilities and building systems of our San Francisco offices
·  Oversee all facilities vendors in San Francisco offices, coordinate access when needed
·  Assist with setup of large meetings and events, coordinating any equipment deliveries
·  Oversee janitorial service vendors and day porters for San Francisco offices
·  Ensure that facilities problems are identified and repaired quickly, will ensure that building management is delivering quality services and will make sure that all internal customer demands are being met.
·  Facilitate daily deliverables for internal SFDC employees’ requests, including furniture (tables, chairs, filing cabinets) replacements/needs and building requests (Temperature adjustments-HVAC, key duplication, lighting, etc.)
·  Manage and administer ticket submittals for SFDC Workplace in Supportforce/Facilities CAFM system.
·  Maintain office supply inventory and stock when necessary
·  Assist with or manage additional/special projects as needed
·  Contribute new ideas to engage and energize the Workplace Services team in improving productivity, efficiency, and quality of service delivery
·  Quickly respond to employee needs in person, via phone, email or our internal social network
·  Assist with all furniture deliveries and installs for office

Required Skills/Experience:

·  Minimum 2-3 years of related hands-on Facilities experience required
·  Experience handling internal moves
·  Self-starter; handles self with minimal supervision and is pro-active
·  Ability to plan and organize work in the required areas;
·  Being able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
·  Excellent interpersonal communication skills
·  Proficient at using the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
·  Must be willing/able to learn and use our internal Salesforce.com software application
·  Customer service experience preferred
·  Must have a great can-do attitude and willingness to complete the job
·  Must be able to comfortably lift at least 25 lbs
·  Willing to travel 5% of time
