The Sales Strategy and Business Operations Analyst- EMEA will play a critical role as it tackles the most relevant challenges to achieve growth targets and supporting our sales organization. This person will be accountable for identifying and reporting on key indicators of performance and market opportunity, using those findings to put forth actionable recommendations to leadership. In addition to day-to-day operations, projects will include business planning, market segmentation, pipeline analysis and ongoing performance measurement. This role will need to liaise and collaborate regularly with the US Sales Strategy and Finance functions to ensure global process and structure. There will be a dotted line reporting structure to Global Sales Strategy.
The ideal candidate for this role is a highly motivated, business orientated individual who can balance operational with strategic, as well as execute on tactical detailed projects including data quality checks and spreadsheet based number crunching. This candidate is not afraid to ask tough questions (as long as they seek the answers), can work independently, is process oriented and is an analytic rock star.
Responsibilities:
· Work with the Global team to design, build, and implement an analytic infrastructure for looking at our business
· Analyze the health of the business and interpret key leading indicators and performance metrics
· Craft plans to address pronounced weaknesses or areas of opportunity
· Present recommendations to senior management for strategic decision making and investment
· Build and implement sales coverage model and territories for Salesforce.org EMEA
· Assist in the development of Salesforce.org EMEA, including evaluation of new geographies and market segments
· Create, document, and implement other business processes that pertain to business growth
Desired Skills/Experience:
· 3 - 5 years of work experience in a management consulting, Finance or Strategy and Operations
Role:
· Superior skills in analytical and presentation tools such as Excel and PPT
· Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis, and translate those results to easily digestible messages, communications, and presentations
· Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; sense of urgency
· Self-motivated with a highly collaborative style and strong influence skills
